Sharon Anderson, Assistant Head of School

Sharon Anderson has been teaching for 25 years. The 23-24 school year marks her 18th year with the organization and her 3rd year as assistant head of school.

Sharon received her undergraduate degree from William Patterson University with a degree in communication disorders, and special education.

Sharon has been trained in all multi-sensory learning instruction from Dee Rosenberg, including certification with the Wilson Reading System. Sharon also received her certification in Orton-Gillingham reading from Fairleigh Dickinson University, center for Dyslexia Studies.

Outside of work, Sharon and her husband enjoy taking their camper out on trips and going out to dinner at local restaurants. Sharon has two amazing adult sons that she loves to spend time with.  One of her favorite places is the beach where she can catch up on her books and spend time with her mother.
